My client is a UK Wide coroporate finance house offering a breath of advisory sservices for their broad client base. This analyst role is an excellent first step into the world of corporate finance and would offer an aspiring graduate the opportunity to join a highly recognised and established firm. you will:
Requirements:
- Assisting in the overall development of deal origination strategies
- Sourcing and analysing market data to compile a portfolio of relevant target companies
- Identifying, joining and monitoring bulk data sources, mailing groups and publications across relevant industries to source and screen relevant target companies on a continual basis
- Management of the function's internal CRM of opportunities - creating a systematic regime of contact and follow up protocols for the function
- Internal reporting of function performance, KPIs, etc
- In-depth company and industry research including relevant meeting/pitch preparation (e.g. sectorial research, buyer/investor identification, valuation analysis, etc)
Requirements:
- 2:1 or above (achieved or predicted) in any degree subject
- Relevant work experience or internships
- Highly driven, motivated individual with strong analytical skills, a high degree of commercial awareness and a genuine interest in M&A
- Ability to confidently engage with CEO-level decision makers and articulate investment banking services, shareholder options, etc
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining an exceptional quality of output whilst working under tight deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
