Commercial Accountant

An excellent leisure company based in Slough are actively seeking a commercial accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a newly created position due to excellent business growth over the past 2 years.

Client Details

My client are an expanding organisation with a turnover of 140 million in 2018, this is 15% increase year on year. They have 21 people within the finance function and this role will sit alongside the financial controller and will report into the finance director. You will recieve excellent mentoring and support from the finance director and he will assist you on ad hoc projects.

Description

As a qualified commercial accountant, you will be responsible for partnering with all departments, including sales and ensuring that all activity is analysed, profitability, contracts and commission structures are analysed and results are presented to the head of sales.

You will also provide reports on budgets & forecasts, board packs (supporting finance director). You will also develpe and manage cashflow models, risk management and ensure the company are compliant with ISO standards.

Profile

To be successful in this position you will hold a relevant accountancy qualification or equivalent and will be commercially interested in analysing the business and improving processes. This may suit a newly qualified accountant or an accountant returning to work after some time off.

You will have good excel skills and be able to work on multiple projects at the same time.
