Ideally, you will be a commercial, progressive accountant who wants to create great relationships with none finance staff and push the business forwards into the next stage of growth.

Description

The key responsibilities for this Kendal based Finance Manager role are as follows:

Preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow
Maintain balance sheet control through preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
Production of monthly Board packs
Presentation of monthly results to group
Ensure all income, expenditure and capex is correctly accounted for, monitored and any variances to budget and prior year are analysed and commented on

Involvement in the preparation of forecasts
Support business owners to achieve budgets through effective reporting of sales performance and spend against budget
Challenging budget holders regarding spend and proactively identifying opportunities and risks associated with the cost base
Support with development, preparation and tracking of business and financial KPIs

Profile

The successful Finance Manager for this Kendal based role will be:

• A fully qualified accountant
• Able to work autonomously on site in Kendal, and work seamlessly with the group finance function too
• Confident, able to communicate with lots of different levels of stakeholders
• Able to improve processes and identify improvements
• Happy to work at pace and to month end deadlines
• A supportive, friendly team member able to fit into the close knit team in Kendal

Job Offer

The successful Finance Manager for this Kendal based role will receive a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience.
