Reed Accountancy & Finance are working with a group of companies within the electrical wholesale industry based in Belfast, and are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join their team.
This is a new role due to both growth and restructure and could offer good career progression for the right person.
The Role
Reporting to the Company Accountant and working as part of the finance team, this will be a stand-alone role managing a high volume credit control for a large client base, UK & ROI.
The Credit Controller will be responsible for the accurate reporting of the ledger together with the collation and analysis of monthly reports for management. The Credit Controller will participate in weekly and monthly meetings with the team to deliver reporting results.
High level customer service, effectively managing all aspects of account management
Making outbound calls to customers in line with company procedure to discuss accounts and arrange payment
Taking inbound calls and dealing with customer queries with the ultimate goal of obtaining payment
Managing the aged debt and minimising
Ensuring that all debt management activities adhere to Regulatory Codes of Practice, Data Protection and in-house procedures
The Person
The ideal person for this role will have:
At least 3 years experience managing a high volume credit control
Strong IT knowledge – preferably Sage 200 and MS Excel
Ability to work as part of a team
Excellent time management skills and ability to work to strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
