Michael Page Finance are delighted to be supporting an innovative, R&D focused, manufacturing business based near Gloucester to hire a UK Finance Business Partner to strengthen collaboration between finance and the UK commercial/sales teams.

Description

Based near Gloucester, the UK Finance Business Partner is tasked with partnering closely with sales to set and drive a robust pricing strategy whilst leading on a variety of other commercial finance projects.

Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering, the role sits in finance but within a cross functional team, with one direct report (CIMA part qualified) and a lot of visibility/exposure to the Senior Leadership Team. The successful Finance Business Partner should be comfortable taking their next step in the business within 24-36 months (max) due to the current succession plan in place.

Profile

Working as a Finance Business Partner it is expected that you take pride in your soft skills. Partnering with sales in any business isn't an easy task, so we expect you to be able to evidence partnering with challenging individuals to build trust and get results.

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

• Strong analytical skills - performance analysis, sales analysis, pricing analysis

• Able to evidence communicating comfortably at all levels, inside and outside of finance

• Good system skills - Excel and business intelligence tools

• Knowledge of pricing strategies/structure (desirable)

Job Offer

£45,000 - £52,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
