Description
Our client is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their Accountancy team in Guildford.
- Support the production and analysis of the monthly management accounts, forecast and 4 year budget plan for your business areas. Work closely with key stakeholders and colleagues to ensure information is accurate and the financial position is optimised, challenging variances where necessary.
- Provide support and financial advice to various stakeholders, educating non-Finance staff in Finance processes, ensuring a strong control environment and promoting Finance strategic aims.
- Responsible for completion and clearance of balance sheet reconciliations for assigned area.
- Be an active member of the Finance Team sharing best practice, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and contributing / leading to their implementation.
- Working with finance colleagues and Business Finance Partners in the provision of financial information (e.g. business cases, external returns).
- Identify value-adding opportunities around cost savings, increased profitability and business enhancement.
Profile
