Data Team Senior Manager

Key points and objectives of the position:
Enable value-adding data analysis by establishing data infrastructure, tools, skills and culture in FG and conduct advanced analysis and implement automated reporting solutions.

Main task:
1.Data landscape implementation-30% in time
• Implement and maintain the Data Warehouse as the single source of truth for data and continuously work on expanding data scope and integration
• Work together with IT and system owners to automate interfaces to source systems
• Implement, maintain and further develop data frontend (App & Desktop) to provide users with a simple and user-friendly portal for their reporting and analysis needs
• Implement data analysis tools and continuously conduct market research to stay updated on new technological developments
2.Advanced data analysis-25% in time
• Build-up and further develop advanced data analysis processes and methodologies
• Identify and conduct value-adding analysis cases together with the responsible FG function
• Review efforts, results and process and adjust methodology if needed 
3.Data skills & culture-20% in time
• Build up advanced data science skills in own team and facilitate sharing and training with selected employees from other FG functions
• Define basic data skills for FG and implement training program in cooperation with HR
• Continue to organize the Data Community project and continuously implement measures to spread data culture in Daimler China
4.Reporting automation-20% in time
• Support FG functions to automate reporting to reduce manual work by providing standard solutions, templates and guidance on the process
• Establish and maintain a centralized reporting portal to enable self-service reporting
5.Big data, robotics & process automation-5% in time
• Provide guidance to FG functions in regards to Big Data, robotics and process automation projects and if needed act as a bridge to IT to facilitate smooth project implementations.

Education:
Master degree or equivalent in Finance, Data Science or related 
CPA or ACCA qualification is preferred
Data Science qualification is preferred

Experience:
More than 5 years experiences in Finance and Controlling or business intelligence function within automotive industry, or other related working experience in MNCs
Solid experience in data or reporting related fields

Specific knowledge:
Deep understanding of the data analysis process and statistical methods
Good overview of data analysis tools and systems
Understanding of mobile reporting, Apps and mobile infrastructure
