My client is looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join their team as a "number 2" to the Financial Controller. This will be a hands on role – my client is very much looking for a do–er and someone who can get on with the job in hand with minimal supervision
You must be able to work well under pressure and and have excellent time management skills – adhering to deadlines are imperative in this role!
The daily duties in this role will include;
* Daily processing and reconciling Banking transactions and Accounts
* Processing daily payments including Direct Debits
* Reconciling Supplier Statements
* Preparing and processing weekly payment runs
* Posting high volume of Purchase Invoices
* Calculating time sheets and allocating hours to projects
* Assisting in preparing the Month End Accounts
* Assist with the preparation of VAT returns
* Ad hoc duties as required to assist in other areas of Finance
Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 and Excel would be a major advantage in this role
Working hours Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm and the client offers on site parking
