Location: Metairie or New Orleans, LA

The Clinical Quality Audit Analyst is for developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating quality improvement activities for assigned population according to the Quality Management (QM) program.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

* Designs and implements quality improvement studies.

* Analyzes data and prepares quality management reports in accordance with QM principles.

* Participates in intra–departmental teams to improve sustainable member outcomes; assists in defining opportunities for improvement identified through analysis of trends.

* Coordinates resolution of high level complaints.

* Assists in the preparation of RFPs.

* Assists with coordinating improvement activities that improve HEDIS and member satisfaction.

* May meet with physician offices for provider collaboration activities and education.

* Requires an LPN/LVN; 2 years of experience in quality improvement, risk management and/or clinical auditing in a managed care setting; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

* AS or BA/BS in Nursing preferred.

* Licensed Behavioral Health Clinical experience preferred (LMSW, LPC, Licensed Addiction Counselor or any other BH capabilities).

* 80% regional local travel may be required.

* HEDIS subject knowledge preferred.

* Strong ability to manipulate and analyze data required.
* Minimum intermediate level MS Excel experience required.
