Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing effective, timely, well-analysed and succinct management information as well as ensuring robust planning, budgeting and forecasting processes,

  • Ensuring compliance with local, state and federal budgetary reporting requirements,

  • Overseeing the development of robust systems of internal controls across all finance operations both at Corporate and operational levels, providing comfort to the Audit committee and the veracity of the financial accounts and management information,

  • Coordinating the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses and information reports to a high standard in terms of uniformity, integrity, timeliness and quality,

  • Establishing and overseeing local financial reporting requirements inDRC and improve and modernise systems and processes in conjunction the Head of Finance inDRC to include treasury best practice,

  • Assisting in obtaining the necessary licences and insurances required to support corporate objectives,

  • Managing financial foreign operations to include developing financial and budget policies and procedures.
