A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join my client on a 6 month basis (potentially longer).

My client are market leaders in their field of expertise and are a growing business.
Description
The key responsibilities within this Financial Controller vacancy extend to, but are not limited to:
- Providing financial accounting and control for the business
- Overseeing all of the accounting and providing timely monthly financial reports to group personnel
- Reconciling all bank accounts and intercompany balances
- Improving the quality and content of information provided by the accounting system
- Variance analysis on all financial activity and historical trends
- Preparing the UK Statutory accounts for audit
- Ad-hoc additional project work as required
- Management of a small team
Profile
The successful candidate for this position will be:
- A qualified accountant (CIMA,ACCA,ACA) with a significant amount of post qualified experience
- Strong on Excel with excellent analytical skills
- An excellent communicator with the ability to influence and liaise with other areas of the wider group
- Possessing broad systems knowledge
