Asset Management - Middle Office(AD/SM)This role is expected to provide strong support to Head of Operations for ensuring the efficient and effective execution of the Operations functions in support of China WFOE's business growth and strategy. Client DetailsAn international asset manager with Asia at its core, now join Shanghai as WFOE, got PFM licenseDescription Middle Office Operation1. Oversight of all activities supported by custodian/fund administrator 2. Act as the first point of contract on exception management 3. Initiate any fund transfer/payment instruction to custodian/fund administrator 4. Complete cash reconciliation validation 5. Accurate publication of Start of Day (SOD) custody cash to the front office in a timely manner 6. Coordinate with key stakeholders to provide support on launch of new products and any other business activities 7. Responsible for establishing, maintaining and updating operational processes, procedures, checklists etc Data Management1.Set up and ongoing maintenance of new securities, portfolios, brokers and benchmarks2.Sourcing and onboarding of new market data like market indexes3.Provide data management input for the Change requests/new initiatives raised by various business teams4. Resolution of exceptions to ensure data integrity Transitions 1.Management of the fund on-boarding and off-boarding process to ensure required decisions are made in a timely manner to achieve desired outcomes 2.Coordinate the completion of request forms for service providers with the relevant internal departments/teams responsible for sign off Investment Monitoring1.Perform day-to-day monitoring of investment breach (both passive and active) 2.Advise fund managers and internal customers on the interpretation of the relevant investment guidelines and restrictions. 3.Ensure that any investment breach is properly followed up and reported ProfileBachelor's degree required 6+ years of asset management industry experience preferably in a similar roleStrong understanding of asset management industry, business model, trade-life cycle and operations processesPrevious experience coordinating/liaising between various internal and external stakeholdersStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong project management skills with a keen eye for detailsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of the small teamAble to deliver successful outcome in an efficient manner Enjoys solving problemsJob OfferGood Platform and working environmentWorklifebalanceTo apply online please click the "Apply" button below.
