Financial Planning and Data Analysis/Stewardship Manager - All Industry Backgrounds Welcome
Join the Finance team to support our Banking and Financial Services business and proactively partner with the business to provide insights and analysis to help drive optimal performance.
You will be responsible for reviewing, challenging and reporting financial results for Macquarie's Business Banking and Wealth businesses. In addition, you will drive, design and deliver targeted analysis that gives meaningful insights into business performance. You will have a passion for data analytics, identifying patterns and a curious mindset.
You will also be responsible for driving Finance process efficiencies and operational excellence, as well as data stewardship responsibilities within the team.
As a confident and driven individual, your attention to detail and demonstrated communication skills will help provide the platform for you to tell the story behind the numbers.
You will have a tertiary degree in Science, Maths, Analytics, Commerce, Engineering or the like and have a minimum of 4 years' experience where you have demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, an ability to interrogate data, and ultimately be responsible for delivering actionable insights to a range of stakeholders.
A background in finance or analytics from industries outside of financial services is entirely acceptable for this role. Data analytics experience with Alteryx, Power BI, etc is advantageous.
