Market leading pharmaceuticals business with its UK subsidiary in central Milton Keynes. Looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the UK entities and work closely with Senior Directors.

Description
Finance Manager Responsibilities:
- Managing the production of monthly management accounting information
- Managing a small team across the wider finance function, whilst also overseeing the different ledger functions.
- Management of the production of the annual statutory accounts to completion and finalisation of its audit and reports.
- Responsible for ensuring financial policies and procedures are followed as outlined by the wider business.
- Responsibility for the integrity and security of data and information held on the Finance System and the coordination of upgrades to the system.
- Coordination of relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for preparing accurate reports, including full profit & loss account with analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, Profit & loss forecasts & annual plans.
- Assisting in the development of business financial processes and ensuring they are regularly maintained.
- Undertaking any other duties relevant to the key tasks and responsibilities identified by the Managing director
Profile
Finance Manager Requirements:
- Extensive experience leading a finance function essential
- Proven track record of preparation of regular management accounts
- Knowledge of accounting systems and good MS Office skills.
- Experience managing and heavy involvement within training and development.
- Solid financial accounting & processes knowledge.
- Extensive analytical exposure and providing detailed commentary to senior stakeholders both within the UK and abroad.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proactive, creative approach to getting the best out of people.
