A Finance Manager role within a large multinational company. This role is based within an expanding finance team, looking for new management with fresh ideas for implementation.

Client Details

A large multinational company based near Witney with a large, friendly finance team. Looking to expand and bring in a new finance manager to implement a new process and improve efficiency.

Description

The key responsibilities of the finance manager includes:

  • Responsibility of all areas of day to day cash management, ensuring staff reconcile all bank accounts daily. Dealing with bank accounts in 10+ countries and currencies.
  • Manage the relationship with all our banks, ensuring appropriate access for all staff
  • Work in tandem with the AP supervisor, Payroll Administrator and Transaction Processing Manager
  • Ensure that staff within the team are motivated, and training and development needs are identified and addressed
  • Ensure all transactions are posted promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure appropriate levels of currency are maintained in all accounts, whilst adhering to cash policies and procedures.
  • Complete all FX transactions and ensuring adherence to the Treasury Policy
  • Own the weekly cash reporting to Head Office.
  • Manage a team of two, who are responsible for processing all sales and receipts and chasing payment from concession partners, ensure cross training of all tasks.
  • Ensure all bank mandates and rent guarantees are up to date and maintained.
  • Assist in Regulatory Reporting matters. This will include assisting with the year-end audits and filing of Statutory accounts for all global legal entities.

Profile

The successful finance manager will have:

  • A recognised part/full professional qualification - ACA ,ACCA or CIMA preferred
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of FX transactions.
  • Exceptional level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
  • Experience of completing reconciliations of bank and FX transactions.
  • Experience of managing a team.
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment as a key player working closely within a large Finance Team
  • Good understanding of MS packages such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Confidence of working in high transaction volume environment
