I run a growing and reputable private psychology practice in the Sydney CBD and Barangaroo areas.

The successful person will have working knowledge of matters related to accounts for a psychology practice. Initially the role will be for 2 hours per week, developing into a more substantial part-time role, especially when our second practice location reopens in January / February 2019.

To be successful for the position, it will require you, at first, to liaise with our existing company accountant to get up to speed with where things are at. From there, you will have independence with the accounts. You will be expected to deliver monthly financials, process accounts receivables and received billings data, and prepare taxation statements for our external accountant(s). You will also be required to provide general advice on bookkeeping and implication of business matters, as well as make employee / contractor and general bill payments. You will be expected to work off-site, communicating via email, phone, and videoconferencing. In addition, there will be times when you will be required to attend on-site meetings (at least once a month), however this will be advised when required. As such, you be required to make yourself available during the day for communications and discussions, with the majority of tasks able to be undertaken out of business-hours.

Minimum 5 years general experience required, with at least 6-12 months experience in a medical or allied health practice.
