Due to growing demand from our existing clients, we have an opportunity for a proactive junior Bookkeeper or student studying to be an Accountant to join our diverse bookkeeping firm.
  • Permanent full time position available
  • Start in the New Year
  • Cleveland location with free onsite parking
We are keen to talk to all junior Bookkeepers, or someone who is in the process of studying their Bachelor of Accounting, who wants to join a growing bookkeeping company that is affiliated with long standing Accounting firm in the bayside area.

The Role
In order to be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate an eagerness to learn and an outstanding attention to detail as well as an affinity for numbers. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing work in the following areas using Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks (training will be provided):
  • Data entry
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Payroll / Super
  • IAS & BAS checks
  • General Administration duties
  • Filing, answering telephones and Ad-hoc duties as required
You will be a key member of our close knit team consulting directly to both our new and existing long-term clients - so a highly professional, friendly and engaging personality is essential. You will be able to provide bookkeeping services to our clients, whilst ensuring our client service standards are maintained.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Experience in managing a variety of tasks simultaneously despite changing priorities and requirements
Suitable candidates will ideally have a minimum of 1 years' experience in bookkeeping in Australia. You will possess strong computer skills and intermediate accounting software knowledge across MYOB, XERO and Quickbooks, along with strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills. In this role you will provide a full suite of bookkeeping services across a diverse range of business structures and industries. You will consult with our clients to help them improve their bookkeeping systems and use existing systems more effectively.
