Assistant Accountant with Accounts Payable (12 Month Contract)

Our client are looking to recruit a role that is 40/50% accounts payable duties, with the ability to take on assistant accountant duties and progress very quickly.

Our client are based in the City of London near to Bond Street and are looking for a candidate to start in January.

Our client are a large Hospitality company based in the City of London near to Marble Arch.

They are looking to recruit on a 12 month fixed term contract initially and may become permanent from there.

The position will be 40% accounts payable and then 60% assistant accountant duties.

Description

This role, Assistant Accountant with Accounts Payable (12 Month Contract), involves

- Working on AX Dynamics

- Coding purchase ledger invoices

- Processing invoices for head office

- Intercompany invoice processing

- Processing expenses

- Cash book reconciliations

- Bank reconciliations

- Journal postings

- Reallocations between departments

- Intercompany reconciliations

- Account analysis of fees/ revenue

- Fixed assets

- VAT returns

- Intercompany charges

- Accountancy focused

- Paid via the company as a permanent employee

- Based in the City of London

Profile

This candidate we are looking for, Assistant Accountant with Accounts Payable (12 Month Contract), must

1. Have a strong background in Accounts Payable

2. Have experience in some assistant accountant duties i/e cash book reconciliations, journal postings, accruals and prepayments

3. Be happy with a 12 month contract

4. Be happy to start in January
