An exciting opportunity for a dynamic and bright individual to join a rapidly growing IT company based in Cambridge to add real value to the business. Within the position the Credit Controller will have responsibility for their own portfolio, effectively running the credit control process and reducing the aged debt. The Credit Controller will also be in close contact with the wider team to ensure objectives are met and key client relationships are created and maintained.

Description

The Credit Controller will:

  • Have responsibility for the credit control process for an allocated portfolio
  • Successfully reduce the aged debt through successful cash collection
  • Be in constant contact with the wider departments in the business to ensure credit control objectives are met
  • Successfully build and maintain key client relationships
  • Effectively communicate with both the sales and technical teams globally
  • Effectively answer customer queries in a timely manner
  • Assist the accounts receivable team with their tasks including; customer invoicing and allocation of payments
  • Assist in the streamlining of processes within the Finance team

Profile

The successful,Credit Controller will:

  • A dynamic and driven individual who is keen to make an impact on the business
  • Hold previous credit control experience and have a proven track record of collecting aged debt
  • Actively studying AAT or CICM would be desirable but not essential
  • Proficient user of Excel able to perform V Look-Ups and Pivot Tables
  • Prior exposure to Access Dimension would also be desirable but not essential
  • Enthusiastic individual who works effectively unsupervised
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Confident in building and maintaining client relationships
