Investment Director

Our client, a leading investment company focused on infrastructure projects across Europe and America are looking for an Investment Director to join their London team. This client specializes in mid-market investments. Currently they have made over 10 investments from a number of funds and manage over £3bn in assets.

As my client is looking to expand their reach they are looking for a candidate with preexisting relationships/networks within infrastructure across Europe. Alongside this the successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of analytical processes and strategy in order to take the lead on transactions.

Experience:
oRelevant financial industry experience within infrastructure from an investment/commercial bank, private equity firm or advisory company with a focus on origination (10+ years).
oStrong analytical understanding.
oPrevious experience in day to day management of transactions throughout the entire lifecycle as well as a proven track record of successful transactions.
oMotivation to work in a buy-side team with particular focus on sourcing new opportunities.
oAbility to think critically in order to assess investment opportunities and strategies.
oAble to contribute to a positive, constructive working atmosphere with a focus on problem solving.
oStrong communication skills, easily able to lead interactions with internal and external colleagues, investors and clients.

European language capabilities are advantageous.
