Our Client

An international investment bank is looking for a settlement associate to join their friendly custody settlement team.

Responsibilities
  • Handle settlement for Equities, Bonds using CCASS terminal
  • Handle client enquiries
  • Ensure the smoothness in the daily operation of the department
  • Ensure the process are within proper internal control and also in compliance with external Rules and Regulations
  • Liaise with brokers in-house counterparties to follow up any settlement related issues and enquiries
  • Ad-hoc project for new product or new system enhancement

Requirement
  • At least 1-year experience in settlement operations
  • Thorough understanding of equities settlement function for Hong Kong and major Oversea markets
  • Knowledge in CCASS terminal and regulatory requirements in relation to settlement
  • Exposure in system implementation is an advantage
  • Good communication skill in Putonghua, Cantonese and English (as phone confirmation with banks and counterparties may be required
  • Mastery of MS Office.
  • Good team player with adequate inter-personal skills;
  • Able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Good problem-solving skills
