About the Company
We are working with one of Australia's leading wealth management organisations. Due to an internal secondment, an opportunity exists for a Line 1 Risk Management to join on a 12 month FTE basis.
About the Role
You will be responsible for ensuring the day to day delivery of 1st Line of Defence risk and compliance practices. Responsibilities include:
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and embed risk tools
Regularly asssess business unit activities to ensure risk is managed effectively
Ensure compliance with Risk and Compliance Management Frameworks
Manage and measure end-to-end risk in the business via regular forums
Excellent exposure and opportunity to take on 2iC responsibilities
Skills & Experience
3+ years Operational Risk Management experienced gained in wealth management
Understanding of wealth business laws and regulations (eg. APRA, ASIC, ASX)
Ability to offer process improvement and initiative
Strong communication skills to confidentally influence senior stakeholders
