This Graduate Accountant role is a commercial opportunity to have a hands on accountancy based role reporting to a talented financial controller.

This is based in a highly skilled and fully qualified team

Description

This Graduate Accountant role will include the following;

• Month end accounts production

• Weekly bank reconciliations and postings

• Prepare and distribute P&L's and reports

• Prepare monthly customer spend reports

• Reconcile supplier accounts

• Reconcile intercompany position

• Ad-hoc reporting and business partnering

Profile

This role will require a talented Graduate Accountant who would one day like to become a qualified CIMA / ACCA accountant, you will need to have exposure to the following;

*Excellent understanding of the basic accounting functions such as, Accounts Payable, Reconciliation, Accruals and Prepayments, Analysing data and producing reports.

*Graduate in Accountancy and Finance - 2.1 or 1st class degree preferred

*Strong systems experience including Microsoft Excel and Accountancy software

*Communication skills this role will require liaising with colleagues at all levels and being able to communicate financial data effectively is essential.
