BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE REPORTING PROFESSIONALS (JESS) OVERVIEW: KPMG in Jamaica seeks to identify Business Intelligence Reporting Professionals to support the Finance and Accounting (F&A) Central Reporting Group (CRG) process area; supporting monthly and ad hoc financial and operational reporting processes providing key business insights to the functions and other key stakeholders. This includes, but not limited to, partnering with the Client's CRG team and its internal clients to develop and produce financial reporting in support of the day to day management of the business and to inform business decisions. Key reporting areas include financial statements, productivity, client revenue/profitability, accounts receivables, and expenses. The position will be assigned to our rapidly growing KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (K-JESS), which provides services to a major client in the United States. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Extract and review the inputs from the various tools used by KPMG (including Business Objects, HFM, and SAP) or provided by the business requester Provides direction and leadership to the team, and is responsible for all aspects of their professional growth and development Take accountability for the production, accuracy and integrity of reporting outputs. Review trends, perform error checks and other validation processes prior to distribution Develop (or modify) reports and/or solutions and test and validate against business requirements and stakeholder expectations Respond to ad hoc requests through the meaningful presentation of data Utilize BI Software (such as SAP Business Objects WEB Intelligence) and Alteryx to create or assist others in building reporting solutions that provide meaningful insight into operational results and financial trends Work directly with end users to develop solutions to ad-hoc analytical and reporting requests utilizing available tools and technologies Assist with Special Projects, as needed. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and COMPETENCIES: Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science or Equivalent Professional Accreditation Experience with Business Intelligence reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects (preferred), Alteryx; Qlik Sense or other similar applications Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel (using data tools, pivot tables, macros and other advanced functions) Very strong team player that is focused on enhancing team performance Very strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal judgement Demonstrated subject matter lead within area of responsibility Ability to exercise professional skepticism and analytical judgement based on materiality and significance Can break down a process into component parts and identify issues and/or opportunities for improvement Strong customer service orientation consistently focused on exceeding expectations Apply Now!
