The individual will support the AP & AR function within the central finance function. They will proactively contribute to the maintenance of a positive and open working environment within the central finance function. They will ensure that interactions with all stakeholders are carried out in a courteous, patient and professional manner. The individual shall complete their tasks, including those listed below, to the highest standards. This role is based on client site in Dublin 2.
Core Responsibilities
- Assists non-finance personnel on finance related queries in relation to purchasing and expenses;
- Inputs and processes purchase invoices onto system accurately, ensuring they have correct PO’s in place;
- Review requisitions to ensure they are correctly set up by requisitioner;
- Prepares and processes weekly payruns ensuring that they are processed by Thursday afternoon;
- Reviews (posts board members expenses) and processes expenses bi-weekly ensuring that they are processed by Thursday afternoon;
- Prepare and return monthly withholding tax returns (F45’s)
- Manages the After the Fact process;
- Monitors purchase orders, reviewing if they need to be closed or notifying requisitioners that purchase orders are nearing completion;
- Posts sales orders onto the system for approval;
- Ensure robust internal controls are maintained within areas of responsibility; and
- Ensure high-quality and up-to-date procedure documents are maintained for areas of responsibility.
Other Responsibilities
- Assist with any systems development or implementation within area of responsibility;
- Assist with the various audits and reviews that take place throughout the year;
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Role Requirements & Key Competencies
- Strong MS Office and MS Excel skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team; and
- A ‘can-do’ approach with the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
