Our large corporate client is looking for a Purchase and Sales Ledger Team Leader in their transactional finance team.

Description
- To process invoices, using the relevant processes in SAP, to ensure that costs are allocated to the
correct areas of the businesses in a timely fashion, to ensure that suppliers can be paid within their
payment terms.
- To act as the first point of contact for supplier and subcontractor queries, working with colleagues to
follow up as required.
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts with investigation and resolution of queries.
- Act as a discrepancy manager to resolve instances where price/quantity/goods between orders,
goods in notes and invoices do not match; liaising with procurement department where appropriate.
- Maintain well organised and accurate filing systems, to enable other members of the accounts team
to locate and resolve queries that arise after original invoice processed.
- To inform surveyors/management accountants of any abnormal or unexpected invoices as they
arise.
- To be committed to continuing professional development and to maintain an up to date knowledge of
the legislative arena.
Profile
Previous experience working within a operational Finance department in a supervisory position
Experience working with Ledgers
SAP experience
Experience with Bank reconciliations
