We are a Chartered accountancy practice with offices in Jersey and Guernsey and are the Channel Islands member of Baker Tilly International, an international network with 125 member firms in 147 countries.  In 2016, Baker Tilly International won the “Network of the Year” Award by IAB.  

Our client base is continually expanding and comprises of prestigious local and international clients including listed entities, banks, trust administration entities in the financial services sector as well as a number of commercial entities in sectors such as real estate, oil and gas and mining.

The opportunity

An immediate opportunity has arisen to join our firm in the Jersey office and subsequently be seconded to one of our prestigious clients as a fund accountant. The client, one of the largest  fund administrators in the Channel Islands has over 600 staff, over 300 funds and 2,000 entities.

On completion of the secondment (at least 9 months), you will be re-integrated into our team which comprises primarily of Big 4 alumni who work together in an entrepreneurial firm where you will support the management team in growing the firm, as we have successfully done over the last few years. You will therefore be involved in business development and so we are looking for someone who is ideally looking for a long term career with the firm.

Ideal candidate

You will have the following:

• Completed your professional qualifications (e.g  ACCA) or are very near completion.
• Experience in audit. We may consider you even if you have no such experience but this will be assessed on a case by case basis.
• Core skills: Analytical, work under pressure, research, work with minimum supervision. Good technical skills (e.g IFRS, ISAs), good team member, good IT skills.

The firm will assist you in relocation to Jersey including accommodation for the first 4 weeks, a work permit (if required) and other relocation support.
