Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the statutory reporting process - Provide accurate analytical and financial reporting which is insightful and identifies opportunities to the business and management.
- Monitor and understand monthly variance of balance sheet items.
- Responsibility for internal control cycles.
- Preparation and submission of UK VAT returns.
- Review and sign off of International VAT returns
- Support year-end audit and interim reviews.
- Support projects around continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls.
Profile
Essential:
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
- Good communicator at all levels
- Professional scepticism
- Demonstrates initiative and accountability
- Takes responsibility for own work
- Computer literate with strong excel skills including experience of building financial models
