Global health care company seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Manager in Runcorn to oversee running of department.

Description

Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will provide efficient transactional services for all purchase ledger stakeholders:

  • Responsible for developing policies on AP and policing the implementation and compliance of these policies with the team

  • Providing accounts payable input into accountancy packages and taking ownership off all purchase ledger business processes in to accounting systems

  • Managing a team to perform multi-currency international payments

  • Motivates the accounts payable team to hit past due targets and to construct / maintain visible KPIs upon which AP can be measured

  • Responsible for all delinquent accounts

  • Responsibility / owner of AP related processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to policies

  • Ability to work with internal / external stakeholders such as treasury, auditors, tax etc

Managing and developing the purchase ledger team and any other duties that may be required

Profile

The successful Accounts Payable Manager must meet the following criteria:

  • Significant accounts payable knowledge with solid management experience

  • Experience of dealing with high volume and complex account management

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills

  • Experience of working with integrated IT systems

  • Strong and confident leadership skills

  • Multi Currency experience desirable
