The UK Legal team is well established and highly regarded. Led by our General Counsel (who is also Managing Partner, Risk Management and a member of the UK Board), we comprise 20 lawyers supported by 2 paralegals. The UK Legal team also forms part of a Global legal function.
The opportunity
We need a commercial lawyer with commercial contracting experience who will be dedicated to supporting EY's procurement function. Your key responsibilities
You will have experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (including high value) for products and services including technology related services, marketing and hospitality, software licensing and outsourcing. You will also ideally have experience of supporting a sizeable procurement function.
You will be required to work autonomously and innovatively to support the legal issues connected with our procurement.
Skills and attributes for success
A self-starter, adept at responding promptly/juggling deadlines who actively looks to build relationships based on trust and confidence with our procurement function. Capable of the swift review and analysis of the legal risk in a variety of contracts, drafting mitigation measures where necessary.
