About our client:

Our client is an Asian bank, looking to hire a FIG RM for Insurance coverage. Ideal candidates should have minimum 7 years of experience and have strong connection with the Insurance companies in Singapore and within the region.

Job responsibilities:
  • Support the team leader in the delivery of relevant banking services to customers, in own coverage area to meet the department's regional revenue targets
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and understand their needs in order to provide a high quality of service
  • Collaborate with other members of the department to ensure that profit targets are achieved as a whole
  • Work in partnership with Compliance to consult on compliance issues, including but not limited to KYC and Sanctions
  • Work in partnership with Credit on any credit issues associated with the deal
  • Work in partnership with Operations to ensure smooth processing of transactions
  • Carry out financial modelling on customers and their business to support deal proposals
  • Negotiate with customers on matters including but not limited to contract terms and conditions and pricing, as well as seek commercial solutions to finalize the deal
  • Attend the Deal Screening Committee to support proposed deals and provide additional information when required
  • Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations

Work experience and skills:
  • The successful candidate will already have experience of managing and growing a portfolio of Financial Institution, in particular, Insurance sector.
  • The Candidate will need both strong business origination & selling skills and strong credit analytical skills.

Requirements:
  • Min 7 years of experience as a FIG RM in Insurance coverage.
  • CFA or CAIA charter holder
  • Master's degree in a finance or economics discipline
  • Deep understanding of at least 2 from: Lending, Securitisation, DCM/ECM, Transactional banking, Derivatives, Sales & trading of debt instruments, Capital/debt structuring skills
  • Intermediate level Excel skills, Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
