Job Purpose Reporting into the Group's trading team, the Sports Trading Assistant will be responsible for servicing regular and ad-hoc information requests from Traders, covering a range of sports queries concerning business levels, liabilities and profits from various betting markets. They will also monitor the profitability of the Group's individual Sportsbook customers using profiling tools designed by the Group's QA team. *Please note this is a shift based position with shifts falling on weekends and bank holidays. Shifts are 8.5 hours long and run between 7AM and 10PM* Key Responsibilities - Extraction of information and collation of data from a variety of different sources. - Creation and maintenance of reports using a range of software products and development of effective systems and procedures. - Assisting traders in ensuring that fixtures are published accurately and in a timely fashion. - Analysis and interpretation of data to produce meaningful information for Group management, in particular changes in patterns and trends. - Presentation of information for review by Group management in a clear and accessible manner - Testing new builds of the trading systems and reporting back to Group on these - Acting as a liaison between trading and other teams within the Group's Sportsbook department. Skills and Capabilities Essential - Demonstration of an analytical approach to problem solving - A keen interest in betting and gaming - Strong affinity with working in data/maths driven environment - Excellent attention to detail. Desirable - Degree qualified in a largely numerate discipline is desirable - Experience working in e-gaming / numerical environment.
