I am currently working with a market leading manufacturing business in Ashford who are recruiting for a German speaking Financial Accountant.
Client Details
My client are well known in their field and operate in multiple countries. They are based in pleasant offices in Ashford and have an excellent reputation.
Description
The role will include but not be limited to the following:
Maintains all associated general ledger accounts within the associated sets of books, including recording necessary journals and preparing account reconciliations.
Interfaces with other Finance and business functions, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Tax, to ensure sets of books are complete and accurate.
Supports the company's outsourced partner in preparing statutory accounting reports for the associated countries, including support for any associated audits.
Completes monthly financial reporting routines as a part of the financial closing process, including review and communication of the associated financial statements, along with consolidating these statements into the Group and global reporting tools/processes.
Ensures inter-company activity is timely and accurately accounted for, including preparing invoices as necessary, reconciling the associated accounts, confirming balances with other affiliates, and maintaining compliance with the business Transfer Pricing Policy.
Ensures all activities are undertaken with a clear audit trail which can be made available on request.
Pro-actively improving and undertaking effective business relationship with key interfaces.
To assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures.
Profile
Your profile will be similar to the following:
Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or Qualified Accountant in Germany.
Hands on technical accounting experience.
Strong Excel skills.
Fluent German.
