This Interim Management Accountant role is based for a leading organisation in the not for profit and charities sector in central Milton Keynes area with parking on site. Looking for someone to take responsibility for month end processes and to work closely with the new Head of Finance

This Nationally leading Not for profit and charities sector organisation have a reputation of leading form the front in the services they provide nation wide. With a new finance function they are looking for a Interim Management Accountant to come in at short notice and add value as soon as possible to the month end processes. With parking they are based in Milton Keynes

Description

Interim Management Accountant main duties and responsibilities;

• Full month end management accounts production
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Business Partnering
• Driving continuous improvement and change programmes
• Ad hoc financial analysis
• Accruals, prepayments and journals
• Assist the head of finance with commentary and variances

Profile

Interim Management Accountant experience and characteristics required;

• Prior month end accounting experience ideally 3 years in a management accounting environment
• Confident business partnering
• Keen to work on a 12 month fixed term contract basis
• Locally based and commutable
• able to work as part of a team and on your own
• the desire to input into the improvement of the finance function
