Join us in Birmingham as a PMO Analyst
  • Reporting to the Head of Stress Testing Delivery & Controls, you'll contribute to the full stress testing process, and your remit will cover the controls assessment for data, assumptions, models, processes, reports and documentation
  • You'll monitor the governance and controls covering all aspects of stress testing operating procedures, ensuring compliance with policy and auditability
  • This role offers a great deal of variety, and you'll be continually picking up new and engaging challenges and tasks
  • As well as driving the delivery of stress testing capability improvement initiatives, you'll support regulatory framework changes relating to ICAAP and capital analytics

What you'll do

This role will see you tracking and updating the current status of plans used for the management of all internal stress test and regulatory stress test deliverables. You'll undertake the dependency tracking and monitoring of the plan's critical path, alerting the stress testing delivery manager of potential scheduling delays, and delivery conflicts or risks. You'll also assist with the live management of each stress test delivery plan, ensuring robust change control throughout the results generation and approval phases.

Supporting the management of all documentation related activities, you'll contribute to the collection, review and approval stages of all documentation produced for each stress test execution cycle.

As well as this, you'll:
  • Report on regulatory stress testing queries and issues, and prepare material to support regular briefings to senior management and stress test governing forums
  • Support with the live management of the internal and external action and query logs filtered for priority items, providing key metrics for stress test stakeholders and governing bodies
  • Prepare capability improvement work stream status reports, and support the generation of recruitment activities consistent with the target state operating model
  • Maintain up to date business continuity plans for the Stress Testing and Risk Capital team
  • Assist with the development of training programmes for the Stress Testing team

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of stress testing end-to-end cycles, and experience working with regulators, and knowledge of regulatory requirements. You'll also experience building project plans, and you'll be able to build and deliver project management MI.

Along with experience in a PMO role, you'll have delivered risk or finance programmes and delivered data to regulators. You'll also be able to multi-task, and engage and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

As well as this, you'll demonstrate:
  • Highly developed communication and influencing skills
  • Workflow management experience
  • Strong administration skills
  • Exceptional organisation skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Audit experience

You'll ideally also hold a Prince 2 or a Chartered Financial Analyst or Institute of Risk Management qualification.
