Overview
We are looking for an exceptional individual to become part of the Global Delivery Client Reporting Team (APAC).
The successful candidate will demonstrate analytical and client relationship skills with a background in end client delivery being a strong focus. Maintaining and building on existing client relationships will be integral to the role and it will be critical to drive the team forward, promoting exemplary standards and cultural excellence.
As a key member of the APAC Client Reporting Team the candidate will be required to analyze and provide clear explanations of how information reflected in the end client deliverables is structured along with various accounting, performance and system concepts. As report integrity is of paramount importance, the candidate should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and place a high value on accuracy while seeking to advance the operating model through automation, process optimization and cross division collaboration.
Key Accountabilities
  • Responsible for timely and accurate completion of Client Reporting deliverables for IMS APAC clients on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, including reviewing work from off-shore
  • Establish and maintain an effective control environment that ensures Client Reporting deliverables are accurate
  • Manage completion of BAU work and balance with other projects and client on-boarding
  • Conduct detailed due diligence with clients to determine the optimal solution, then work with the global team to build or modify simple to complex reports in State Street's proprietary report development platform
  • Interface with data experts, data sourcing resources and assist in the data validation process
  • Make proactive recommendations and solutions for problem resolution
  • Interface with senior level internal and external clients and other departments on complex matters and inquiries
  • Identify improvements and efficiencies both in the BAU and onboarding processes and work with relevant teams to implement

Experience, Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
Essential
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial services with at least 2 years in a role that involves client reporting
  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, or economics or equivalent work experience in finance or accounting
  • Demonstrated excellence in business writing, development of business process flow diagrams, and effective verbal communication
  • Experience in a client reporting function within the financial services industry (eg Performance or Accounting)
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle several projects simultaneously
  • Ability to develop business relationships within and outside the organization
  • Able to leverage global teams and expertise to get work done and solve problems
  • Sound interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, balance workload and work in a deadline oriented environment
  • Ability to meet tight SLA and project deadlines
  • An understanding of various reporting platforms and how they interact with a data warehouse
  • Ability to work independently and use judgement and business acumen to make sound decisions

Desirable
  • Accounting and related client reporting experience
  • Flexible approach to working
  • Basic coding skills in excel VBA, SQL experience an advantage
