Aston Carter have an existing opportunity for a Manager of Financial Control with strong technical accounting/policy skills to join a leading Financial Services Firm. In this role you will partner with senior stakeholders across the business to advise and achieve finance outcomes and reporting in a specialised finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • General Financial Control Tasks
  • Balance Sheet
  • Profit and Loss
  • Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reporting
  • Reviews of Financial Data
  • Technical Accounting - IFRS, Revenue Assessments
  • Liaising with key stakeholders on review of complex accounting treatments on transactions and implementation of new accounting standards
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills / experience:
  • 10+ years Banking and professional services experience
  • Strong technical accounting / financial control skills (policy, IFRS)
  • Management of people and development of staff
  • Ability to provide insights to senior leadership team
  • CPA, CA or equivalent
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible and responsive to change
