Finance and Project Analyst

Aston Carter have been engaged by a leading listed Financial Services brand in the search for a Finance & Project Analyst. The brand are the pinnacle brand in the Australian market within their chosen sectors and are expanding their operations into development projects.

The role is a newly created position and will provide the successful candidate with unparralled exposure to executive leadership, joint venture partners and group operating functions. The role will serve as a hybrid finance and projects roles focused on working as a conduit between the newly created division and the group parent. Main duties of the role include;

• Financial and Cash-flow Reporting across the Development project portfolio,
• Drafting and presenting project reporting packs to senior leadership and JV partners,
• Engaging with group legal, procurement, finance and admin on a number of reporting requirements,
• Chairing and organising a number of committee meetings,
• Partnering with the Commercial Manager and PMO lead to establish a best in class Projects and Finance function within the new business, and
• Contract administration across a number of operatonal projects.

This role is a rare position in the Sydney market, it is designed for a finance or projects up and comer who is looking for broad exposure and a great brand. The role will provide excellent access across the business and will serve as a landing platform for someone to move within the group. You will ideally be between 2-5 years post-graduation and have been working for a property or construction leader or within a top-tier financial services group.
