A very well established, reputable and successful accountancy firm, with a quality client base, providing accounts, tax, planning, advisory and wider general practice services.

Description

Joining as Senior Manager / Partner Designate, based in the firms offices near Canterbury, you will join with a view to progressing to partnership in a reasonable and negotiable timescale. The current partner is well established and is looking to reduce the time spent working and looking for some form of exit strategy as part of this succession plan.

You will have the expected responsibilities of managing a client portfolio covering a wide range of business sectors, including manufacturing, corporate, agriculture, tourism and leisure etc, delivering accounting and taxation services and providing business advice, managing staff, workload and budgets. Alongside this, a key part of your role will involve actively becoming a part of the local business community, networking, developing relationships and looking to further the growth and development of the firms client base. The opportunity therefore provides a genuine chance to develop towards partnership with the associated skills required and you will be expected to demonstrate the ability to step up into this level of role within a negotiable and realistic timescale, dependent on your motivations, experience and discussions.

Profile

ACA, ACCA qualified with a strong background in the profession. You will have skills managing a portfolio of mixed clients sole traders, partnerships limited companies and OMBs up to or over the audit threshold, with and emphasis on accounts, tax and advisory work as a Manager or Senior Manager / Partner Designate. You will be looking to step up into a partner level role and be able to demonstrate the skills required with business development and relationship building skills. You may be Kent based, working in an accountancy firm of small, medium/large size, or looking to relocate to the South East in a long term lifestyle and career move seeking a challenging opportunity in the profession where you can develop towards partnership.

Job Offer

£45,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable
