Responsibility:
Perform Should Cost Analysis
?Support Sourcing in RFP and cost negotiation with should cost analysis.
?Support Technical Services in cost analysis for value improvement projects
?Support R & D in new product cost analysis and manufacturing methods.
?Perform functional analysis and Product Teardown Analysis.
?Analyses the material breakdown of product and cost of manufacturing process.
?Conduct competitive review and cost analysis of competitor products.
?Perform “What if “scenarios analysis (volume changes, material price index change, etc).
Cost Saving Activities
?Drive for cost improvement through cost gap analysis and specs optimization.
?Drive for value engineering projects with Sourcing, R&D, Toll manufacturers and/or Project leaders.
Process Improvement
?Develop and update cost templates for Should Cost analysis.
?Develop and update Market Intelligence Data and utilize market intelligence in analysis.
?Develop and update Should Cost information in the database.
?Being a point of contact for product sample distribution. Before doing so, preliminary Product Teardown Analysis may need to be performed.
?Contribute to the development of Strategies and Procedures (work flow) according to department's roadmaps.
?Drive the changes according to the action plans by cooperating with cross functional teams.

Requirements:
?Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering.
?At least 2 years of "hands on" experience in manufacturing is required.
?Experience in Costing from Electronics field is preferred.
?Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow up.
?Strong Communication skills with an ability to work outside of regular working hours, if needed.
?Strong Analytical skills and Interpersonal skills.
