A Management Accountant is being recruited to join a fast growing business based in Wirral.

This successful and growing company is recruiting for a Management Accountant to support an established accountancy function. This is an award-winning business has grown both organically and through acquisition, and are working in partnership with some successful and well-known brands throughout the world.

Description

This Management Accountant role will support senior members of the finance function as well as key stakeholders throughout the business. Your main duties will cover reporting, analysing and commentary on business performance, planning and forecasting. Day to day you'll be:

• Preparing the annual budgeting process
• Supporting the rolling forecasting process
• Developing of a new planning/forecasting system as well as improving the current financial reporting processes
• Performing and value adding analysis to support the understanding of multiple aspects of business performance
• Liaising and working closely with the Finance Business Partners and Planning Accountants to provide high quality reports
• Supporting business partnering services across the business

Profile

The successful candidate will be:

• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
• Experience working in an analytical role as well as strong reporting skills
• Advanced Excel- look ups, pivots, macros
• Exposure to budgeting and forecasting functions
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• A strong and enthusiastic individual and able to build strong relationships across the business
