Financial Controller

An excellent role that will allow you to take full control of the overall finance function and allow you to change and adapt it to the business needs. You will be heading up a change program within the finance team to ensure processes and procedures are being completed on time.

The business is experience high levels of growth, as a result the financial director has the need to hire an exceptional financial controller to lead a team of qualified and part qualified accountants. The main reason for the growth is the innovation of new processes and also the acquisitions of smaller companies.

Description

As the financial controller, you will be demonstrating your leadership skills by ensuring the finance department is running smoothly. You will have a variety of direct reports that you will manage to ensure that tasks and deadlines are met. This will include budgeting and forecasting and month end processes.

Profile

The successful candidate will be in a similar position in terms of job role and seniority. You will have managed a team of qualified accountants previously and will have a strong leadership style. You will have ambitions to be a future finance director in the long term.
