The head of finance will manage a small team that will include a Finance Manager. In this role you will work closely with the board and CEO to execute key financial decisions.

The charity are a well established organisation with a healthy fundraising income and exciting pipeline of programmes.

Description

  • The Head of Finance will be responsible for running both the annual budget and the year-end processes, preparing statutory accounts for the charity
  • Attend the quarterly Finance Committee and will liaise with the auditors, bank manager, investment managers and other external stakeholders
  • Will be in charge of the monthly management accounts cycle and completion of KPI board reporting. They will have the desire and freedom to drive change for processes and systems

    • Chartered accountant or qualified by experience
    • Previous management experience
    • Charity finance experience is desirable

    Job Offer

    circa £70,000+ and also additional benefits will be on offer plus flexible working
