Page Personnel is working with a well known manufacturer based in Deeside to recruit a part qualified Management Accountant to join their accountancy function.

Client Details

This internationally-recognised, PLC business has recently acquired another business in the UK and looking to centralise their accounts function into their existing team, hence why they want a strong part qualified Management Accountant to help with their centralisation project and integrate the new business, developing financial controls and processes.

Description

As Management Accountant, reporting to the UK Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing the monthly management reports fora £25m subsidiary, including P&L analysis, performance, cost analysis
• Implementation of control policies and procedures
• Capital expenditure, producing capital spending requests, ensuring project costs are kept in line with authorising limits, capitalisation of projects when they are completed
• Annual budget preparation and monthly forecasting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Analysing efficiencies for the factory - reporting on yields, factory costs, overtime analysis, productivity
• Proactively suggest ideas for process improvement and help drive through these changes

Profile

The successful applicant must have the following skills and experience:

• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent with a strong academic background
• Manufacturing background is desirable
• Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge on Excel
• Strong communication skills and able to build relationships across the board
• Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Highly motivated and have a continuous improvement mindset
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work produced
• Experience working with an ERP system
