A Financial Accountant role within a dynamic and hands on role in Swavesey in a constantly changing education and training environment. The Financial Accountant will take on the finance function for the team, managing and improving the existing team.

Description

The Financial Accountant will:

• Lead key financial projects for the business
• Ensure internal and external audit requirements are met
• Complete the month end processes for the business
• Produce the annual budget and rolling forecast
• Maintain, interpret and report accurate financial data
• Variance commentary and analysis
• Travel to the various sites to help each with their finance function

Profile

The successful Financial Accountant will:

• ACCA/CIMA part-qualified
• Be willing to travel to a number of different sites regularly
• Experience in the use of SAGE
• A progressive and ambitious individual
• Be credible in liaising with senior management
• Strong organisational skills
• Have the ability to challenge the status quo and drive improvement through change
