We are seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of: NIGHT AUDITOR ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Reading the log book at the start of every shift to follow up on all guest-related issues noted by the previous shift. Checking Housekeeping report to enter discrepancies in the system. Preparing Discrepancy report for Front office. Checking the status of all the arrivals and departures. Interacting professionally with guests seeking assistance at the front desk and ensuring communication is carried out in a friendly and professional manner. Answering the front desk telephone promptly. Monitoring and ensuring all wake-up call requests are honored. Following up with all room service requests. Incidents or issues that occur during the shift should be entered in the log book and sent by email to the attention of the Front Office Director and Manager. Following up on all problems reported to the front desk, and making note of all unresolved matters and conveying the matters to the person(s) taking over the next shift. Ensuring the front desk is manned at all times. With respect to meal breaks, etc., always liaise with the Night Manager to provide desk coverage during absences. Attending and participating in all training and staff meetings that are planned for the department. Communicating and coordinating with other departments to provide and receive information about guest needs, requests and complaints. Conducting any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate should have at least a Diploma in Accounts or Business 5 CXC/GCE subjects including English, Mathematics and Accounts ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Previous hospitality experience preferred. Possession of an outgoing personality along with exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills is strongly required.
