Our client, a growing funds and investment management business are currently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their high-calibre team.
Company
This market leader within the funds and investment management sector has seen record profits over the last year. Providing a raft of services to their clients the finance function play an integral role; both from a finance and relationship perspective.
Role
Within this Senior Financial Accountant role you'll take on the end to end financial management for a portfolio of the firm's clients. As such it will provide a diverse offering to the successful candidate, helping you to develop your current skills as well as gaining new ones. The company require a candidate with a collaborative work ethic, someone able to interact with some very senior Portfolio Managers.
Responsibilities
Financial reporting, preparation of monthly management accounts
Preparation of annual statutory reports
Tax compliance
Preparation and presentation of board papers
Mentoring junior staff
Requirements
CA / ACCA Qualified or equivalent
Financial Services Financial Accounting experience
Funds Management exposure would be beneficial
Technical accounting skills
Tax knowledge
