Description

As a Payroll Officer based from the Chobham, Woking, Surrey office you will be responsible for:

The below is a brief overview so please apply for further information

• Responsibility for the processing / preparation of payroll for the business (via ADP managed service) - circa 530 employees

• Input / process all starters/leavers on ADP

• Thoroughly check and complete monthly payroll submissions to ADP (i.e. if a new starter has started half way through the month- check if correct/ accurate, deductions are correct etc.

• Compile weekly overtime and absence sheets per contract

• Process overtime payments and any deductions on monthly payroll

• Liaise with ADP regarding deductions of earnings/P45/P46/pension auto enrolment

• Be the first point of contact for payroll queries

• Produce weekly and monthly HR / payroll related reports

• Work closely with the HR team to ensure seamless processing of relevant information

• Liaise with Finance department regarding adhoc payments

• Upskill / train other HR team members on payroll process to ensure effective cover during any absence

• Support the Head of HR

Job Offer

Salary £28,000 - £38,000 depending on experience, the client is considering varying levels of experience. 25 days holiday, Auto enrolment pension, Free Parking onsite

Hours 8-4 or 9-5
