Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit requirement from users in local and remote offices

• Engage with stakeholder and build strong  working relationships

• Write user stories

• Produce functional documentations for development team

• Produce diagrams and process mapping documentations

• Participate in the software development activities

• Assist in management of development backlog

• Perform regular requirement signoff testing

• Produce user training documentation

• Rollout of systems across Vistra offices                                   

• Provide application support

• Manage feature requests

• Assist in project management and provide estimates

• Identify areas of improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• Some travel to other group offices in order to deliver projects

• Any ad-hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications and other requirements

The successful candidate should possess the following:

• Minimum  5 years of experience

• Experience in Agile development environment

• Experience in working with software development team

• Experience in data models, database design and data mining/segmentation techniques will be advantageous

• Tertiary qualification in Information Systems or related disciplines

• Ability to prioritise tasks with multiple projects

• Work independently and in a team

• Perform under pressure in a fast pace environment

• Strong communication skills, with excellent attention to detail

• Self starter, self motivated, take ownership

• A passion for continual improvement, with a command of robust, best practice methods and analysis techniques

• UML, BPMN, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, Zendesk

• Professional fluency in written and oral English is mandatory

• A good command of Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) proficiency is  advantageous
