The Management Accountant will support the Finance Manager and Financial Controller with the compilation and reconciliation of all relevant management information required for compliance, budgets and the smooth running of the business.

Description
The Management Accountant will:
- Provide accurate departmental overhead reporting, variance to forecast and budget analysis and associated commentary;
- Production of subsidiary company management accounts and provide finance support to the managing director;
- Reconciliation of management information, correction of posting errors and accrual analysis;
- Monthly overhead forecasting including stakeholder management;
- Regional P&L reporting (This may include a requirement to travel between our offices);
- Assist the finance manager with the preparation of annual budget;
- Balance sheet reconciliation;
- HMRC reporting to include VAT submissions and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS);
- Development of our finance systems to improve processes and efficiencies;
- Assist with internal audit system and controls;
- Assist the Finance Manager with cashflow forecasting;
- Year end audit reporting including overhead cost and gross margin analysis;
- Line management of Accounts Assistant.
Profile
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified;
- Strong knowledge of Word and Excel;
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- Strong communication skills;
- Good team working skills.
